Journey just happened to be on VH1 and I was fortunate to see Neal Schon and Johnathon Cain with the rest of the new Journey playing live in concert. The new lead singer, Arnel Pineda, is a great replacement for Steve Perry and the band seems to thrive on his energy. So today I am inclined to listen to Journey firstly.
Straight after that was the REO Speedwagon concert. Kevin Cronin can still do it too. An interesting side note for Aussie fans is that REO Speedwagon’s lead guitarist Dave Amato played on Jimmy Barnes’ “Working Class Man” album. |
